This site is being developed to provide the citizens of Sequim with internet access to their government and departments. Our web site is a work in progress, gaining more functionality each week. We believe that the site will evolve constantly, always remaining in a state of development. We will strive to maintain a pleasant appearing site, and more importantly, produce a City government site that provides information to our citizens that is practical, timely and accurate. To that end, please let us know what you think of the site (contact form), or offer any improvements you feel we should consider implementing.

Navigation

There are many easy and useful ways to move about our site.

The 'Home' page has direct links to the City Council and City departments, listed on the right side of the display. These links will take you to the respective 'home' pages where appropriate selections can be made.

In the 'Quick Clicks' area on the home page, each item is a link to the page described. These items may change depending on the frequency of hits to the page.

Any word or phrase that is highlighted in blue is a link to a page or a pop-up documentation window. In our opening remarks on the home page, 'welcome' is highlighted and is a link to our 'Welcome to Sequim' page.

In the upper right hand part of each page are links to Contact Us (Phone numbers and e-mail addresses for the departments), Search and Home.

The drop-down menus on the top of each page allow for dynamic branching to the exact page desired, eliminating the display of at least one screen in the navigation. For example, if you know that you want to retrieve information on 'streets' in Public Works, you first drag your mouse over Public Works and then the topic (Streets). The appropriate page is then displayed. If you needed further information on the Public Works page, the links are always on the right side of the page. And the drop-down menus are always available for when you want to jump directly to a page in another department.

At the base of each page, except for the Home page, are direct links to the 'home' pages of the departments.
